SHINING 3D Unveils the Next Generation: EinScan H2 3D Scanner

Hangzhou, China – July 25th, 2023: SHINING 3D, a pioneer in the realm of 3D digitization and inspection, proudly presents the evolution of 3D scanning technology with the launch of the EinScan H2, the successor to its highly acclaimed EinScan H.

The EinScan H2 retains the ergonomic design, wide Field of View (FOV), and convenient hybrid light sources that users loved in its predecessor, while incorporating several groundbreaking enhancements.

  • Vivid Colors: The EinScan H2 features a 5MP camera that delivers richer and brighter colors. This enhancement results in 3D models with unparalleled realism and higher levels of detail.

  • Triple VCSEL Projectors: Unlike its predecessor, the EinScan H2 is equipped with three VCSEL projectors working in unison. This trio enhances its ability to capture dark surfaces efficiently and adapt to varying lighting conditions.

  • Precision and Resolution: Thanks to the additional VCSEL projectors, the EinScan H2’s infrared mode boasts an impressive accuracy of up to 0.1mm (0.05mm in white light mode) compared to its predecessor’s 0.5mm accuracy. Additionally, it offers an improved maximum resolution of 0.2mm, up from 0.25mm.

  • Adaptable Working Distance: The EinScan H2 offers an adjustable working distance, providing the flexibility to scan objects and scenes of various sizes. In infrared mode, the working distance can be manually set anywhere between 200mm to 1500mm.

  • Advanced Hair Capture: Introducing a novel “hair enhancement mode” developed by our software engineers. This mode simplifies the capture of both light and dark hair, complementing SHINING 3D’s “non-rigid” feature, which auto-compensates for slight body movements.

With improved texture capture and accuracy, the EinScan H2 becomes an excellent choice for capturing colored, detailed objects. It remains one of the best options for 3D body scanning, thanks to its dedicated algorithms and flashless infrared technology. Furthermore, retaining the EinScan H’s wide FOV and adjustable working distances, it remains ideal for 3D scanning large objects.
